Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our authentic Jaipur Blue Pottery.
What makes Jaipur Blue Pottery unique?
Unlike traditional pottery, authentic Jaipur Blue Pottery does not use any clay. It is made from a special dough of quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth), borax, gum, and water. This gives it a unique texture, durability, and a brilliant white base for our beautiful cobalt blue designs.
Are your Blue Pottery products food safe?
Yes! We use lead-free glazes on our products, making our bowls, plates, and serving dishes completely safe for serving dry and semi-dry foods. However, we recommend avoiding storing highly acidic foods in them for very long periods.
Can I use them in the microwave or dishwasher?
No, Blue Pottery is delicate and handcrafted. To preserve the vibrant colors and the glazed surface, please do not use them in a microwave, oven, or dishwasher. We recommend gentle hand washing with mild soap and a soft sponge.
Do you accept bulk or custom orders?
Absolutely! We regularly fulfill bulk orders for corporate gifting, weddings, and B2B clients. We can also customize designs and sizes based on your requirements. Please visit our Bulk Enquiry page to request a quote.
What happens if my order arrives broken?
We pack our fragile handicrafts with utmost care using multiple layers of protective packaging. However, if an item breaks during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damaged product and the box. We will happily arrange a replacement for you.
Do you ship internationally?
